Description

Form: Cloudy, semi-transparent, slightly oily liquid with an alcohol scent, concentrate for solution preparation.

Purpose: A product for impregnating textiles resistant to wet treatments (cleaning) to create a protective layer that prevents strong adhesion of various contaminants to textile fibers, providing a water-repellent effect.

Solution Preparation:

Stain Protector can be used as a solution with clean water in a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5, with the recommended use of osmotic or distilled water. The recommended water temperature for solution preparation is 10-25°C.

Application:

Before impregnation, ensure that the textile surface is thoroughly clean.

Prohibited:

Applying the impregnator over residual dirt.
Applying the impregnator over residual cleaning agents, including conditioners and rinses.
Applying the impregnator on surfaces and items with patterns that have low resistance to organic solvents (pre-testing is mandatory).
Applying the Stain Protector in concentrated form without diluting it with water.
Storing ready-to-use Stain Protector solutions.
Using dirty tools in the process, especially those contaminated with cleaning agents.

Stain Protector is used as follows:

The surface or item is thoroughly cleaned.
The pH level of the surface is adjusted to 7 +/- 0.5, and the residual pH is monitored by rinsing and checking with an electronic measuring device – a pH meter.
Surfaces that are not to be impregnated should be carefully covered to protect them from small droplets of the impregnator.
The Stain Protector solution is applied to a dry or wet surface in amounts ranging from 50 ml to 300 ml per square meter and rubbed in with a soft brush or glove to distribute the Stain Protector along the fiber.
The treated area can be force-dried (quickly), but it is recommended to let it dry naturally (slowly) since the impregnator polymerizes better in a humid environment, and the polymerization process requires time – from 3 hours to 24 hours.
Applying Stain Protector in two layers is permissible after the first layer has dried.
Cleaning tools or removing the impregnator can be done using Grease Eliminator.

Attention!

Excessive amounts of the impregnator can create dark (grease-like) spots on the textile surface, increase the polymerization duration, cause the fibers to stick together, and change the organoleptic properties of the textile surface.

The formation of granules and rubber-like clots in the Stain Protector concentrate is normal and is not grounds for a complaint.

Precautions:

The product contains polymer components and water-miscible low-activity solvents – avoid contact with rough and/or absorbent materials and other surfaces with very low solvent resistance. When working near such surfaces, take measures to protect them carefully. Do not use near open flames or heating devices! Perform a surface stability test before use. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor. If swallowed, rinse mouth, drink plenty of water, and seek immediate medical attention.

Storage Conditions: Store in a tightly closed container, out of the reach of children, at a temperature of 5°C to 40°C, in an upright position, away from heat sources, open flames, sunlight, and precipitation.
