Gum Remover – Remover of gum from textiles

Description

Gum Remover Form: Oily liquid in a spray bottle.

Purpose: Removal of chewing gum from textile surfaces (upholstery, carpets, rugs, clothing).

Solution Preparation: No preparation required. The product is ready to use.

Application:

Testing: Conduct a test application to ensure the product does not damage the surface, including the fabric’s adhesive, carpet backing, etc.

Preparation: If the carpet is laid over a lacquered or painted floor, place a polyethylene film and absorbent material underneath the carpet. When cleaning furniture, if possible, place polyethylene film and absorbent material between the upholstery and padding.

Stain Removal: Apply 1-2 ml of the product to the stain, treat the gum mechanically using a special spatula (scraper), mixing the gum with the stain remover, and allow it to act for 3-5 minutes. Separate the softened gum from the textile product using the same spatula (scraper) and collect it with a cloth. Rinse the treated area with a cleaning solution using an extractor. If gum residues remain on the surface, repeat the treatment.

Precautions: – Always conduct preliminary testing for color fastness. – Do not use near open flames! Smoking near the workplace is prohibited. – Use only in well-ventilated areas. It is recommended to wear a respirator, protective goggles, and rubber gloves while working. – Keep out of reach of children. – Do not ingest. – Avoid contact with mucous membranes of the eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water. If swallowed, rinse the mouth, do not induce vomiting, and seek medical attention. – Do not pour into water bodies or drains!

Composition of Gum Remover: A mixture of hydrocarbons, nonionic surfactants 5-15%, fragrance.

Storage Conditions: Store in a tightly closed container at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C in an upright position, away from sources of heat, open flames, sunlight, and precipitation.
